Brabus C Class 2011

The Brabus C-Class

The new C-class was only recently been introduced in Germany and already the tuning giant Brabus is set to give the new C-Class some engine upgrades and a modified bodykit with some accessories.
If Mercedes-Benz would like to keep its latest AMG-fettled creation under wraps until the New York Show then it's entirely a different story for the people in Brabus since they simply just can't wait to showoff what they did with the new W204 C-Class.
Brabus installs a special crankshaft together with some large pistons which increase the displacement to 4.0 liters. The four-valve cylinder heads were optimized for gas flow and were fitted with special camshafts. The other modification done includes a stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with metal catalysts together with some newly programmed engine electronics. This conversion has resulted in a maximum power output of 244 kW and a peak torque of 420 Nm at 4200 r/min making the petrol-powered Brabus model capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in a matter of 5.6 seconds while reaching a top speed of 275 km/h.
Every detail and component of the C-class was not exempted from the attention of the Brabus from the Mercedes ignition coil to the oil burners; etc.---all received the company's PowerXtra performance kit for the C200 CDI. The first stage of modification D2 (III) includes increasing the power of the 2.0 liter common-rail diesel by 29 kW while the torque soars to 450 Nm.
The Barbus D3 (III) kit increased the power stakes for the C200 CDI by delivering 143 kW while the torque remains the same as the D2 (III). The top of the range C320 CDI gets the D6 (III) kit which revs out an additional 36 kW and boosts the torque to a seismometer-tripping 590 Nm which according to Brabus will allow the C320 CDI to reach 0 to 100 km/h in as short as 6.9 seconds and reaching a top speed of 250 km/h.
The Brabus stainless-steel quad sport exhaust system is offered for all engine variants together with a pair of performance braking systems, custom-made alloys of up to 20 inches in diameter, lowering kits and sway bars.
The Brabus will also offer a striking body kit with time in the wind tunnel that has resulted in a mean looking vent front spoiler, three-piece rear spoiler and a utilitarian rear apron. There are also carbon-fiber mirror covers and an optional LED entrance lights which adds to the attractive styling of the Brabus C-Class.
The remarkable interior features of the Brabus C-Class are handcrafted with Mastik leather upholstery complete with Alcantara accents that is aside from the numerous carbon-fiber and wood trim kits. Accessories that include a sculpted sports steering wheel, aluminum foot pedals and an optimistic 330 km/h speedometer are also available as option.
It must be reassuring on the part of Mercedes-Benz knowing that there are companies like the Brabus that make use of their vehicles to compete head-to-head with the mighty BMW Series.

ASMA Design Mercedes-Benz S-Class Eagle

ASMA Design Mercedes-Benz S-Class Eagle

Every once in a while, a tuner comes along that completely changes the perception of the vehicle they're tuning. ASMA Design is one of those tuners. First there was the ASMA CLS Shark II. Then came the ASMA ML Gladiator II.   Now, to further add to their distinctive lineup of tuning products, ASMA has introduced a new tuning package for the 2007 Mercedes S-Class, aptly titled the Eagle I.

Like the previously-mentioned ASMA models, the Eagle I's styling elements are unique, to say the least. A new front bumper featuring additional venting and the now infamous "Darth Vader-esque" grill; new front fenders featuring additional vents; added side skirts; new rear door panels with additional emphasis placed on the flared wheel arches; a new rear bumper featuring, you guessed it, additional venting... these are some of the elements ASMA's Eagle I is proud to boast of. Of course, if so inclined, customers can also opt for new wheels, sport exhaust, etc., to further add to the ASMA's fashionable appearance.

While it's true I could continue describing at length the many new ASMA Eagle I Mercedes S-Class features, photos (several of which I've included below) do a far better job showcasing these very same styling elements.  To learn more, keep scrolling to view the photos in their entirety (click to enlarge), or visit ASMA Design's website to view their full lineup of tuning products.

A.R.T. has created another unique vehicle based on the Mercedes Benz G55K AMG in time for the Dubai Motor Show 2009 its name: A.R.T. G Streetline.
The essential features of this new concept vehicle are enhanced performance, an innovative lighting system, modification into a wide-body design, a superior wheel/chassis combination, and a giant leap in the quality of the interior furnishings.
The AS55K performance boost kit for the basic AMG G55K vehicle includes a pulley set for a more powerful compression ratio, a flow-efficient manifold exhaust, a six-pipe stainless steel exhaust system, two metal sports catalytic converters, 76mm Y-pipes, high-performance engine control, Vmax removal, optimized transmission control adapted to the new performance, a transmission-oil cooler system, a charge-air cooling system with pump, and a large charge-air cooler. The culmination of the conversion is an engine performance of approximately. 442KW (601 metric hp) at approx. 800Nm. This translates into around 260km/h or 160mph. This variant is intended for export only.
The newly developed lighting system uses a xenon premium high bi-xenon dual main headlamp system.
The body and aerodynamics have been transformed with the A.R.T. G streetline Wide Body Kit. Incorporated into the redesigned front bumper is an additional lighting system in the shape of a triple beam xenon headlamp set and a chrome-covered LED multifunctional lamp providing daytime illumination and turning signal. A modified aero hood, form-optimizing running board trim, fender extensions including LED running board lighting, a rear bumper with integrated LED rear lights, a roof spoiler with LED brake light and illuminated entry ledges on all five doors with the A.R.T. logo together contribute to the all-round harmonious design of the A.R.T. G streetline.
A generous hand has been applied to the interior of the A.R.T. G streetline. The rich interior fittings in warm, fragrant, Bordeaux red nappa leather bewitch all the senses. The leather upholstery has been perfected with white contrasting seams, with white contrasting welt, and dark contrast appliqué in the ceiling area. The center consoles front and back, ceiling paneling, instrument board, handbrake grip, handbrake cover, all door paneling, the gearshift lever covering, the paneling of the A, B, C, and D pillars, and, of course, all four seats are upholstered in leather. The ergonomically optimized sports multifunction steering wheel with airbag has been fashioned in Bordeaux red leather and fine wood. The ambient lighting has been converted to a gentle red shade. The speedometer clock face scale has been extended to 330km/h or 205 mph with embossed A.R.T. and G streetline labels. A total of six velour carpets in black and red with embroidered A.R.T. and G streetline labels have been laid in all the foot compartments and in the trunk.
A highlight of this model is the specially developed single seat system. Seats can be electrically adjusted, heated and are also equipped with ventilation. Between the two individual seats is a handcrafted center console with storage compartments.
As a Mercedes Benz tuner specializing in SUV models, A.R.T. has established a core competence in the development of complex special customizations for discerning customers. A.R.T. has already proved a reliable and flexible partner to the royal family of Abu Dhabi for the equipment of its vehicles. Visitors to the Dubai Motor Show 2009 will once again have an opportunity to see the quality and creativity of small German tuning specialist A.R.T.
