Bentley

Bentley

What do you think of first when you hear the name Bentley? Most of us will agree that is certainly not a person who belongs to the middle class. Also with this car you do not go to the market, if you want to drive this car you must feel like Bentley. This also means that Bentley is not just a car, it is a symbol of class, luxury and prestige. But to afford Bentley you cannot think that way, Bentley is not something you afford, it is a car that deserves to be treated and bought differently – with excess of style and glory.

Bentley has a great history that started in 1919 and few years later Bentley won its first 24 hour of Le Mans. It repeated performance in next three years also. Bugatti, which was its main competition described Bentley as a „the world's fastest lorries“.
Not long after that came a great depression, and high budget cars that Bentley was producing lost their customers. Bentley was bought by Rolls Royce in 1931 and remained in their possession until 1998 when VW group bought Rolls Royce and Bentley altogether.

We can't say that period under Rolls Royce management was failures, but since VW bought Bentley it is taking huge steps forward. VW realized that the company was in need of financial help, like at the beginning, and decided to invest into modernizing factory and preparing it for production on a larger scale. And now, we can say that Bentley is returning its former glory. Cars are as massive as they've always been, but more luxurious and with more style. These cars are built to last, and to display power. Whether you like mountain that rides on wheels or a car that can move mountains, and if you want all that to be done with style, Bentley is your choice.

World’s Safest Car

There’s only a handful of countries known for building cars. Most of them are in Europe or the Far East.  Colonel Muammar Gaddafi wants to add Libya to that list, and this is what he’s cooked up to do it.  Called the Libyan Rocket, the car was designed to solve the problem of high instance of road deaths in the north African country.  Gaddafi’s people say it’s the safest car ever made, but don’t go into any details to back up the claim.  Still, the Colonel’s revolutionary government is building a plant in Tripoli to put it together.
Gaddafi’s car seats five, has a 230-hp V6 and the nose and tail of a rocket. The Libyan Rocket does come with airbags, an electronic defense system and collapsible bumpers that supposedly help out in a crash. So what is the “electronic defense system”? Apparently, nobody knows what it is or how it works. So even the secret is safe with this car

Audi

Audi debuted Sport back concept at the North American International Auto Show, but we all know better. It’s no great secret that Detroit is where Audi was choosing to show the first preview of the Audi A7. The sedan-in-a-coupe-body is exactly what we’d expect from the four-ringed brand: sleek, big schnoz and a little different than everything else out there.

There is also some pretty significant technology behind the big grille. This concept is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 TDI clean diesel engine that Audi says almost completely eliminates nitrogen oxides. This engine already meets the emissions standards of all 50 states and the European EU6 standard scheduled to take effect in 2014. The engine delivers 225 hp and 405 lb. ft. of torque.
Audi claims the coupe will accelerate from 0 – 100 km/h  in less than seven seconds and reach a top speed of 245 km/h . The Audi Sport back concept’s average fuel economy is 39.87 mpg, and its CO2 emissions no more than 251.06 g/mile. No bad for a big car. The Sport back measures in at 16.24 ft long and 6.33 ft wide, but its only a low-slung 4.59 ft tal

The company established by August Hoch in Zwickau on July 16, 1909 could not again take its founder's name for reasons of fair trade. Hoch found a new name for the company by translating his name, which means "hark!", "listen!", into Latin. So it was that the second company to have been set up by August Hoch commenced operations under the name Audi Automobilwerke GmbH, Zwickau, on.
